State Reimbursement for Families Not Eligible for Free Bussing

The State of Illinois will reimburse families who live within 1.5 miles of the school that their child( ren) attend. In order to qualify for reimbursement from the State, the student(s) cannot qualify for local school bus service and must have to cross a Serious Safety Hazard. The Regional Office of Education in Edwardsville determines what Serious Safety Hazards exist in each community.
