Congratulations to Middle School Track Athletes

Congratulations goes out to the six E.A.M.S. student athletes who qualified for the I.E.S.A. Class A State Track Meet. 

Seventh Grader Jeremy Wells placed fifteenth out of forty-four contestants by running a 17.9 second, his personal best, in the 110 meter hurdles. Da Nisha Massey another 7th grader placed 5th in the seventh grade girls 100 meter. 

In the eighth grade competition Tyler Lafferty came in ninth in the 1600 meter race setting a school record and a personal best with a time of 5:00.83 minutes.  The Eighth Grade Relay Team of Tyler Lafferty, David Young, Nate Billings, and Jordan Wallendorf finished second in the 4X100 meter relay setting a new school record of 49.56 seconds.
