EASTWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Our mission at Eastwood Elementary School is to educate minds and hearts, one child at a time. We are committed to providing a quality education for every student. Our vision statement, "Attitude is Altitude", targets both academic and social growth.

Together, administration and teachers work collaboratively as we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes character building, citizenship and life long learning. Together, we will foster a positive learning environment that builds community among students and staff. "WE ARE HERE FOR THE KIDS!"
We take great pride in implementing a challenging scientifically researched based curriculum aligned with the Illinois State Learning Standards.We feel that as educators it is our responsibility to continue professional growth through workshops, professional readings and team collaboration. We appreciate the ability that our teachers exhibit to meet the individual needs of each and every child.
Together, we strive to form positive collaborative relationships with parents and community organizations to meet the needs of the whole child. Eastwood faculty and staff value parental and community involvement into the educational process. We invite your input into your child's education.
