What's Happening in P.E.!
Our P.E. program has been blessed in the last couple of years. The National School Fitness Foundation supplied us with lots of new equipment for our students. Included in the equipment were 9 weight machines that were designed for elementary age students. The 2nd - 5th grade students are doing a combination of machines and stair steppers to get an excellent and fun cardiovascular and strength building workout.
Eastwood School also received 4 SmartBall Boards that have been installed in the gym. These interactive boards provide students with several game modes which help them develop their eye-hand coordination, agility, throwing skills, catching skills, and teamwork. We are very excited about the new opportunities that are now available to our Eastwood students.
