Our very own Angela Gray received the Illinois and Midwest School Social Workers Association’s School Social Worker of the Year last Friday in Springfield. Mrs. Gray has been a school social worker for over twenty years and has been with East Alton #13 for the past two years. In that short time, she has been an invaluable support to students, staff and administration. Under her leadership, the district implemented a peer mediation program at EAMS and the Boyz to Men group at Eastwood which brings community members in to mentor to our young men. Congratulations Mrs. Gray!
