Mrs. Darr chose Isabella as the Outstanding Oiler because she has a heart as big as her imagination. She feels deeply—when she’s happy, her laughter fills the whole classroom, and at other times she can be serious too. She cares a lot about others and notices when a friend is left out or when someone is hurt, rushing to check on them or offer a kind word. Sometimes her big feelings can be overwhelming, and she needs a moment to calm down when things don’t go her way, but her sensitivity also makes her compassionate, creative, and full of ideas that show how much she cares about those around her. Congratulations to Isabella as she continues working hard to handle those BIG feelings!

KayLynn is being recognized as Mrs. Naylor and Mrs. Green's Outstanding Oiler of “Big Feelings” for the wonderful progress she has made in managing her emotions. She is incredibly sweet, open to feedback, and always willing to listen. KayLynn feels all the feelings deeply and has learned to work through them in positive, thoughtful ways. She advocates for herself, supports her classmates, and consistently sets a great example for others. We are so proud of KayLynn and the growth she continues to show each day!

The Oiler Market will have adjusted hours on Thursday for parent teacher conferences. The market will be open 3:15-6:15. We have pantry items but no fridge or freezer items at this time. Our next truck delivery is 11/13/25.
Additionally, the EAMS peer leadership is running a canned and boxed food drive to benefit the Oiler Market from 11/1- 11/25 . Donations can be brought to the middle school office or sent in with your child.

Mrs. Schranck and Ms. Fietsam have chose Jessa as our Outstanding Oiler of October. October's focus is Feel It, Face It, Fix It and Jessa has been working so hard this year to be in tune with her emotions and feelings. Even when things can be challenging or overwhelming, Jessa perseveres through it and gives her best effort. Jessa is working hard to be a leader for her peers and leading by example with managing her emotions. Keep up the great work Jessa! We are proud of you!

Mrs. Woodruff nominated Dallas for the Outstanding Oiler of the month for showing incredible emotional growth this year. She’s really starting to understand her feelings and respond to them in a healthy way. Dallas has really been working on facing it. Whether it’s a tough conversation, a mistake, or a stressful situation, she doesn’t avoid it like she might’ve earlier in the year. She’s more willing now to talk it out or take a deep breath and handle it calmly. She’s been using strategies we’ve talked about — things like asking for help, apologizing when needed, or giving herself space. She’s taking ownership and doing something to make things better. It’s been amazing to see her grow, and I think she really deserves to be recognized for how hard she’s working on herself.
