Halloween Costume Guidelines
Friendly Reminder :Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner! Don't forget to sign up for your slot to discuss your child's progress.
We will use an online program to sign up for the conference time that works best for you. You will be able to quickly see what times are still available and select that time slot. If you have more than one child at Eastwood, you will be able to select multiple teachers from the same program.

Hello Eastwood Families Just a few reminders for the Bobby's Caramel Apple fundraiser🍎 Bobby's caramel apples are delicious, make wonderful fall treats for your family, and they'll be delivered just in time for Thanksgiving Apples are sold individually for $11.00, which includes a coupon for a free Bobby's sundae! $4.50 from each sale is donated to the school. Featured flavors are: caramel pecan, caramel sprinkle, caramel candy coated (similar to mini M&M's), and caramel peanut butter candy coated (similar to Reese's Pieces). Orders and money are due no later than October 26th. We will only be accepting cash. Apples will be sent home on November 16th. If your child has a large order, please be sure to arrange transportation on that day. Thank you for your support

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Eastwood Elementary Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26! Your child will have the opportunity to visit the book fair with their class. The fair will also be open during Parent-Teacher conferences for families to have a chance to shop together.

Sabriha is Mrs. Luce's Outstanding Oiler of Respect. Mrs. Luce says I could write a book on all the ways Sabriha shows respect! She is respectful to all teachers, staff, & students. She is respectful to all property inside & outside of the building. She does whatever is asked of her-with a smile! She speaks respectfully & never has a cross word to anyone! Sabriha is the epitome of Respect at Eastwood!

A'Dontae is Mrs. Keys's Outstanding Oiler for Respect because of how he sets an excellent example for others. A'Dontae always uses his learning skills of listening, watching, being still, and staying quiet. He is quick to help others when they need a guiding hand. Mrs. Keys can always trust A'Dontae to make the right choice and do his best, even when things are hard.
A.J. is Mrs. Miles's Outstanding Oiler of Respect. Mrs. Miles says A.J. is always using the words yes ma'am and no ma'am. He has great manners. A.J. is nice to his friends and works hard each day. Way to go A.J!
Emma was chosen for Mrs. Booten's Outstanding Oiler of Respect! She always has eyes watching and voice quiet in the classroom. Emma always shows respect to her friends and teachers! She is a great role model for the other students. We are so proud of you Emma!
Knox is Ms. Baker's Outstanding Oiler of Respect. Ms. Baker says Knox is always polite and using his manners with his classmates, teachers, and staff members. He is always kind to others, shares with his friends, and puts others first. Knox follows school and classroom expectations and is a very kind and thoughtful student. We love having him in our classroom! :)
