
Cora is a shining example of respect in Mrs. Naylor and Mrs. Green class. Her consistent display of courtesy, consideration, and kindness towards her classmates and teachers is inspiring. Mrs. Campbell’s class nominated Kyree for our Outstanding Oiler of Respect. The students say that he is always respectful with his words and actions. He is quiet when others are speaking, and raises his hand for permission to speak. He is respectful in the hallways by always doing a peace walk and keeping a zero voice. He uses respectful words to others and treats them with kindness. He completes tasks on time and always does what is expected of him. I agree with Kyree's classmates and I am thrilled that he is in my class this year. Keep up the great work Kyree, we are so proud of you.


Mr Dorsey's class voted and the majority of my students choose Amoriah as our Oiler of Respect. Amoria's peers had this to say about her: - Amoriah is always following along to instructions and paying attention when she needs to.I have noticed that Amoriah is nice to absolutely everyone, no matter who it is.I believe my class has made the right decision. Amoriah always shows respect in the classroom and I am so proud to be her teacher.

Micheal is Mrs. Buller class Outstanding Oiler of Respect Mrs. Buller says Michael is always respectful and polite. He follows directions the first time. Michael is friendly and addresses everyone with a wave. He is helpful to other students in the class. Michael always has a smile on this face.


Mrs Darr. nominated Colten as the Oustanding Oiler of Respect. Colten shows respect in the classroom by listening, following directions, and speaking kindly to others. He is respectful to the other staff and students outside of our classroom as well. He walks in a quiet peace line, plays fairly, and follows school expectations. Congratulations Colten!

In remembrance of the bravery, courage, and unity shown on September 11, 2001, we invite all students and staff to wear red, white, and blue tomorrow.
Let’s come together as a community to honor Patriot Day and show our respect for the heroes and all those affected by the events of 9/11.


Summer is Mrs. Luce's Outstanding Oiler of Respect. She is a thoughtful student that demonstrates respect in everything she does! And what is most amazing, is that this is Summer's first year at Eastwood! She has joined us and is doing a phenomenal job following all of Eastwood's PBIS expectations as if she's been here forever. She follows all directions whether in the classroom, hallways, or specials and is respectful to all students & adults as well. I am so happy to be Summer's teacher, and if you are her friend, you are one lucky student!


Mrs. Hinnen and Mr. Hensley chose Maya has our outstanding Oiler of Respect because she is the model of what respectful looks like not only to her peers, her teachers, but everybody Maya comes to know. We are truly excited to have Maya in our class this year and we can't wait to see what else she has in store for her 5th grade year! WOHOO!

Bryson is Mrs. Jones class Outstandig Oiler of Respect. Mrs. Jones says Bryson is a great of what being respectful looks like. He follows the classroom rules and models respectful behavior by completing his work, raising his hand to answer questions, and always uses please and thank you. When in the hallway, Bryson is respectful by staying quiet, keeping his hands to himself, and staying in his place in line. Keep up the great work Bryson!!


Aiden was chosen as Mrs. Schrank’s Oiler of Respect. Mrs. Schracnk stated that Aiden comes to school each day ready to learn. He follows all of the classroom rules and expectations both inside the classroom and outside. He is a great to friend to everyone and an even better student. Aiden is an excellent example of respect and I am so happy to have him in my class this year. Keep shining bright, Aiden!


It's Market Day!
