Informational Meeting in the gym after school this Thursday, March 14th from 2:40-3:00 for any 5th grader interested in trying out for cheer. Tryouts will begin on May 6th.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
On Monday, April 8th, the district will be having a half-day School Improvement Day. Students will dismiss at 11:30am.
Additionally, this is the day of the solar eclipse. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of this event, the district will be providing all students with solar eclipse glasses to take home.
In addition to the eclipse glasses, we will be sending home activities for students to enjoy with their families during the afternoon. These activities are designed to enhance understanding of the solar eclipse and provide an opportunity for families to bond while observing this rare event.
Please ensure that your child brings their eclipse glasses home and follows the instructions provided to enjoy the solar eclipse safely. We encourage you to supervise your child during this time and engage in the activities provided.

The lost and found is filling up again! Please encourage your student to come by and look if you think they have misplaced an item. Unclaimed items will be donated to the Oiler Market the week of Spring Break.
Congratulations to our second chance winners for our Superstar Tickets! Everyone who earned a Superstar Ticket during the month of February was entered into a second chance drawing and these were our lucky winners! Remaining names will be transferred to our quarterly drawing so stay tuned!

Ace is Ms. Baker's Outstanding Oiler of Honesty because he always tells the truth. I know that we can always count on Ace telling the truth and being honest about everything, even if it is not always easy. Ace is a hard and great worker and always tries his best. We are very proud of Ace and all of his accomplishments this year! Go Ace!
Jaibrielle is Mrs. Wille’s Outstanding Oiler of Honesty. Jaibrielle is a role model for honesty in our class because she always tells the truth even when it’s hard. She is a model student in our class and is so deserving to be chosen. We are all so proud of you, Jaibrielle!
Mrs. Schranck says, Our class chose Jordyn for the Outstanding Oiler of Honesty because she is an honest and trustworthy student. Jordyn works hard in and out of the classroom and takes responsibility for her work and actions. She takes great pride in her work and strives to do her best every day. She is someone I go to when I need an errand run because she is reliable and trustworthy. I am so lucky to have Jordyn in my class this year! Keep up the great work!

In addition to her unwavering honesty, Nora possesses a remarkable work ethic and genuine passion for learning. Just a reminder, no school Friday, March 1st.
Join us for a night of fun and literacy! Visit your favorite teachers and staff members as they read aloud from some of their favorite books. There will be activities, giveaways, a photo booth, and of course books! Everything is free! The event runs in blocks of time but you can come when you can and leave when you've visited all the stations you're interested in. You don't have to stay for the entire time. Everybody who comes will be entered into a raffle to win a prize basket. We can't wait to see you there!
